If you are passionate about the customer experience, think and act globally and have the ability to contribute to major new innovations in the area of building controls and automation this is the challenge you are looking for!Our Control Engineers technical background across project/construction management, mechanical, electrical or technology background enable them to undertake the challenges of sophisticated controls platforms to strategically align building controls and automation with the larger objectives of the business. They work individually and as part of a team to develop new products, support existing products, test and evaluate equipment.Controls Engineers in AWS deploys, maintains BMS (Building Management System) & EPMS(Electrical Power Monitoring System) across our leased/colocation data centers.Key job responsibilitiesControls Engineer (CE) deploys, maintains BMS (Building Management System) & EPMS (Electrical Power Monitoring System) in AWS leased/colocation data centers. CE co-ordinates with AWS DCEO (Data Center Engineering Operations) teams to implement new builds, upgrades etc and ensures high availability and high resiliency of these control systems.A day in the lifeControls Engineer's day may begin with deployment efforts including on-site site management works, directing Controls vendors for installation/commissioning works and is responsible for quality and on time delivery of the tasks/project. While managing service works, CE will co-ordinate with Operations teams for permits and engages Vendor or performs services confirming to the task lists.About the teamEMEA Controls delivers cutting edge Controls solutions and maintain them throughout the life cycle of the project. When we feel supported in the workplace and at home, there’s nothing we can’t achieve in the cloud.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Zaragoza, ESPBASIC QUALIFICATIONS- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, HVAC, or other related engineering degrees;- Minimum Three (3) years in BMS or EPMS Controls related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience;- Have an understanding of: electrical diagrams, control diagrams, building operations, control circuits, industrial HVAC.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience as a Controls Engineering Specialist -Minimum 3 years of field service experience preferably with the following products: Siemens, Apogee, Honeywel: Building Controls/Trend/Niagara;- Schneider Electric: PowerLogic/Struxureware, Power User Level, Windows Skill Set, - Project management, organization and problem solving skills with a drive for results and the ability to handle multiple task - Must be able to operate with little to no supervision- Masters in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, HVAC, or other related engineering degrees
