CUSTOMER SERVICES & OPERATIONS MANAGER - BANKING OR PAYMENT SERVICES EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (DELAYED START DATE)

€50K - €55K + Bonus & Benefits Home Based (Spain)

Our client, an international payment services company, are seeking a Customer Services & Operations Manager for a start up Company. Reporting to the CEO, duties will include;

• Ensure that proper procedures and standards put in place for Customer Services & broader Operations -, meeting all local and international Compliance requirements (with support from the Compliance Director)
• Act as the focal point for IT issues (with external support)
• Recruit and train junior staff once all properly set up
• Manage Operations on a day to basis once started

You should have previous senior Customers Service and/or Operations experience from Banking or Payments Services IN SPAIN, as well as a very good command of English & fluent Spanish.

However please note the Company is not expected to start operating until January 2024 so once contractually appointed, you will receive approximately 40% of your salary as a retainer payment although no work will be expected to be done, so this may suit those with other sources of income or not looking to return to a full time job until January 2024. Also whilst the role is home based, once operations start you will be expected to make regular visits to the Madrid based office.
