Job Purpose : To ensure the site and all associated equipment are available for use, and comply with all relevant Laws and Regulations.

Responsibilities :

  • Control of contractors and visitors to site in line with site policies and procedures;
  • Record and maintain training records for First Aiders and Fire Wardens, arranging training when required;
  • Manage queries from employees with regards to company cars and processes, strive to be the knowledge expert in this area;
  • Maintain accident records and ensure reportable incidents are reported;
  • Provide cover across all country sites for other site administrators;
  • Provide support for work logs raised by employees, using contracts in place if required to provide an efficient service;
  • Raise and record Purchase Orders as required;
  • Provide administrative support for current projects on-site;
  • Mobile Phone administration for employees, ensuring that contracts are raised and ended in a timely manner;
  • Be the central point of contact for the country Team: Carry out administration tasks as set by Engineering and Facilities Manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience :

  • Experience of working in a fast paced, service environment;
  • A willingness to help and ability to multi-task are essential;
  • Previous employment within a service industry with a degree of responsibility and varied demands;
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word);

Job Purpose : QEHS (Quality, environmental and Health and Safety) specialist will be responsible for assuring compliance with Health and safety, industrial and Environmental regulation at Tech data working centers located in Spain, with the aim of assuring a continuous improvement.

Responsibilities :

  • Guarantee the correct implementation of health and safety management system and policy through all professional levels of the Company
  • Accident and incident investigations and labour accident and sinistrality rates. Reporting to the corresponding official Organization
  • Identify, review and assessment of risks related to health and safety of Tech Data co-workers at Tech Data facilities and logistic centre as well as risks related to activities of Tech Data coworkers in vendors or clients working facilities.
  • Responsibility for the execution of all health safety training within the distribution center and sites across the country in coordination with health and safety management, as well as training in Quality and Environment awareness
  • To be aware of all legislative changes in health and safety, to help drive continuous improvement in culture and ensure duty of care obligations are maintained at all times.
  • Coordination of the emergency and evacuation drills for all Tech Data working centres in Spain and implementation of corrective measures
  • Setup and maintain the scope, policy, environmental dashboard, objectives, KPI's, performance, communication and continuous improvement of the local country EMS in accordance with the European QEMS.
  • Support the QEMR on the annual ISO certification program with the external certification body
  • Tenders and negotiation with providers and Purchase order creation and follow up for the Facilities department
  • Achieve and maintain UNE EN ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001: 2018 standards certification as well as legal audits related to H&S.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience :

  • 3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience is required.

  • Required Education: Bachelor's Degree. Strong preference in Health and Safety or Environmental Management
  • Masters Degree in H&S required (Spain only)
  • Extensive knowledge of H&S law and regulatory compliance is essential
  • Experience and understanding of distribution centre work flow and departmental demands and accountabilities is required
  • Ability to manage teams and communicate to wider audiences
  • Detailed understanding of Operational Processes
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of H&S within a large distribution centre
  • Diligent record keeping
  • A willingness to help and ability to multi-task are essential;
