Negotiate pricing and/or programs with vendors.The eCom Demand Planner & Purchasing Senior Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining the demand plan and managing the forecasting activities for the eCom business in Europe. The DP&PM oversees and directs the purchasing activities using internal systems and procedures.

This position will ensure that the demand plans use the appropriate statistical models, forecast information from sales, marketing, finance, and advanced analytics. The DP&PM is responsible for balancing the demand plan providing guidance and collaborating with the Maytronics Business Operations Team in building the production forecast to ensure the demand plan is successfully executed. The DP&PM partners with Sales leaders to manage the creation of accurate SKU forecasts, ultimately developing the inventory and replenishment strategy to achieve target in-stock levels, planned inventory turns, and developing recommendations to improve inventory productivity.

Responsibilities : Ensure Business/Sales Team short term and long-term plans are supported through the Demand Forecast process.

Support and continually improve the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) through a detailed time-sensitive process that compliments the existing business team format and financial planning processes.

Develop a sales forecast rollup, by business segment, from individual SKU level forecasts to support discussions at the monthly meetings with eCom/Marketplace leadership EU.

Develop upside/downside scenarios with risk assessments and recommended actions to meet customer service objectives and shipment targets.

Negotiate pricing and/or programs with vendors.

Support monthly S&OP Review with eCom/Marketplace leadership EU to review demand plans, supply coverage; validate and adjust current fiscal year forecasts, gaining full alignment with business owners and executive management.

Provide monthly summaries to teams identifying key drivers, and clarity against segment/SKU level gaps, while proactively communicating critical changes to international suppliers.

Prepare, monitor, and publish forecast KPI’s (Forecast Accuracy, Fill Rate, Inventory Targets, Inventory Turns, OTD, Excess and Obsolete) on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, taking corrective actions, as necessary.

Prepare and presents manufacturer eCom forecasts by week/month

Prepare and processes purchase orders and requisition for inventory, supplies and equipment.

Collaborates with other departments, headquarter in Israel and leadership in EU subsidies to synchronize subsidiary and global planning objectives, identify and develop needs and requirements for equipment, materials, products, and acceptable substitions.

Build, align, and submit EDI purchase orders to suppliers, along with production plans for supply coverage of demand through the use of existing ERP/MRP system.

Perform additional ad-hoc requests and duties as requested

Requirements :

  • College degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Management, or related technical field - APICS or similar certification (or willingness to pursue) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience across multiple aspects of supply chain and operations, with previous roles in inventory management, manufacturing planning & forecasting, sales planning, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical modeling, and advanced forecast and demand planning tools.
  • Expertise in data acquisition, spreadsheet/database development and analysis.
  • Experienced in setting priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across the business functions and levels.
  • Demonstrated strong aptitude in analysis, root cause identification, and problem solving.
