Our satellites acquire images of Earth at any time - even when it’s cloudy or dark - providing commercial and government partners with unmatched persistent monitoring capabilities. Information derived from our SAR images helps customers make data-driven decisions to address time-critical challenges in various sectors, such as maritime, disaster management, insurance, and finance. To support the growth of the company, we are looking for a Lightweight Structures Design Intern to join our Spacecraft Engineering Team in Spain, Jumilla (Murcia). We hope you will help us to attain departmental goals and ensure the highest possible level of customer success. Key responsibilities include increasing employee satisfaction and retention as well as ensuring the efficient operation of the department.

The role :Support for the R&D activities of the new ICEYE site**:

  • Calculation and design of lightweight structures
  • Creation and update of technical drawings
  • Prototyping (3D printing)

Training you will receive during the internship : Introduction to FEM (Nastran, Optistruct & Hypermesh) and CAD tools (Autodesk Inventor)

What you will do : Support the design, analyse and manufacturing of the next generation of ICEYE SAR platforms.

What you need to succeed :

  • Degree in Aerospace Engineering or similar.
  • Knowledge of a second language (English is essential)
  • Ability to work in an international context
  • A positive attitude and desire to learn new things
  • Computer skills: Office - High Autodesk - Basic
