Js Front End Developer

Role overview We are looking for a full stack JS developer, with experience in ReactJS, to join an existing scrum team based in Gran Canaria, building a new platform that manages IoT devices in smart buildings. If you are passionate about writing quality code and want to be continually learning using the latest technologies this could be the perfect position for you. What will you be doing - You-ll be working as a web developer in a scrum team of 4 Secret Source developers managed by a Confidencial / product owner. The workflow we use to maintain the quality of the code you write will be fully automated with continuous integration and also through code reviews by other members of the team. On a typical day you might find yourself Conducting code reviews via PRs Planning - Writing user stories, estimating using story points and writing acceptance criteria Working in a team - participating in sprint planning, stand ups and retros At Secret Source you-ll work in a friendly environment, in teams where you-ll feel comfortable giving your opinion and where teamwork really happens Skills and experience In a perfect world, you have: Javascript + Typescript React General knowledge of HTML and CSS is required Automated testing (Jest and similar) General understanding about computer science (Linux, AWS, CI/CD) Our team is from the UK so it is essential you can communicate well in English And we would be really thrilled if you also have experience in: Javascript and Typescript NextJS Framework Bootstrap / Tailwind NodeJS and NestJS for backend Elasticsearch Docker Developing on an Agile team environment We are keen to hear from people with all levels of experience from junior to experienced developers.
