Job Description Summary : The Handheld Ultrasound Product Leader will lead digital, physical and remote sales activities for the double-digit growing handheld ultrasound segment in the LCT. This role will be responsible for handling customer inquiries coming from various digital platforms such as Social Media, Marketing and eCommerce websites and will be seen as an expert on the company’s handheld ultrasound product portfolio, solutions, education offerings and services. The role will take an active part in demand generation initiatives such as the execution of the company’s omnichannel strategy as well as the creation of enterprise solutions for customers by leveraging our products and Digital Tool offering and in partnership with direct sales teams and channel partners. The role will also be responsible for developing the KOL/DOL network of handheld ultrasound across all segments and care areas.

Essential responsibilities :

  • Generate sales and handle customer inquiries from marketing qualified leads and sales qualified leads coming from Social Media, Marketing and eCommerce websites
  • Develop & implement business ecosystem around handheld U/S adapted to local market characteristics
  • Actively engage in KOL&DOL management and building new KOL and DOL network
  • Implement proactive customer call schedule and execute such schedule to increase sales growth
  • Set appointments with prospective customers based on our associates' schedules and assigned actions to local sales and service teams
  • Participate in identifying potential customers for bulk deals or framework agreements, establish relation and guide & support them
  • Handle customer follow-up, deal flow, post-sale activities and support from eCommerce orders
  • Partner with regional segment leaders, field and marketing teams to design targeted demand generation campaigns locally and follow-up on telemarketing & virtual sales
  • Generate leads and opportunities through execution of GE installed base programs with add on products and solutions
  • Actively lead the omnichannel transformation locally in order to increase efficiency in go-to-market, while lifting visibility.
  • Create and execute enterprise strategy for handheld in the LCT, leveraging Digital Tools
  • Support marketing activities such as (virtual) exhibitions, seminars, user group meetings selling tools coordination, training/ education/promotion if needed.
  • Maintain thorough current and competitive product knowledge and clear understanding of market dynamics in order to offer creative solutions to customers.
  • Embrace the Lean mindset by taking part in Lean events when necessary and come-up with process improvements recommendations
  • Develops deep understanding of local market & market segments, provide information to set GTM priorities and investments
  • Actively monitor customer trends about handheld ultrasound on Social Media and other channels
  • Understand and monitor the reimbursement & regulatory situation in the countries/markets in charge of, provide feedback to global business management, marketing and product management, support customers regarding reimbursement & regulatory related questions
  • Build a strong awareness of the breadth of clinical and environmental use cases for handheld ultrasound to become a strong growth creator for the GE ultrasound offerings
  • Take care of potential customer complaints and product quality issues, ensure customer satisfaction and interface w/ engineering and global product management

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Clinical or sales experience in the Healthcare Industry, preferably with experience in the point of care ultrasound segment
  • Strong ability to interface with both internal team members and external customers as part of solutions-based sales approach
  • Experience in telemarketing & virtual sales a plus (lead generation preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in particular excellent phone manner and articulation
