JOB DESCRIPTION (Responsibilities and functions) Working within a Geotechnical /Tunnel team for a specific Project. Processes geotechnical data for ground interpretation, geotechnical assessment and report preparation. Geotechnical designs: excavations, retaining structures, earthworks, soil improvement/reinforcement, foundations, stability and settlement analysis…) Geotechnical calculations, specifications and drawings. Engineer interested in making his/her career at Tunnelling and Geotechnical field. Working in relationship with other geographies. Minimum Requirements We are looking to hire a professional with 2-3 years of experience in a similar role. Positively valued experience at Tunnel engineering and/or Geotechnical engineering. International experience. Experience in Nordics will be considered favorably. Languages: English (Advanced). Software: PLAXIS 2D/3D. GEOSLOPE, ROCSCIENCE, PHASE2, FINE(GEO5). RIDO, CYPE (Embedded retaining walls / Steel sheet pilings). AutoCAD, Excel, Presto. Codes / Standards: Spanish codes, AASHTO / ACI / ASTM, Eurocodes, SBC, Swedish standards. Personal skills we are looking for: Excellent communication skills (both speaking and writing). Teamwork. Ability to work on technically demanding projects in different cultural environments. Learning ability. Interest in achieving a high specialization in Geotechnics and/or Tunnelling. Assuming responsibilities. Willingness to face different task, both technical and auxiliary. Availability to travel and work for specific short and medium periods of time in other countries. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering.
