Responsibilities Regional Health & Safety Coordination: Manage programs for ensuring health and safety at EA, with a focus on occupational health and safety programs across EMEA and APAC. Risk Identification and Evaluation: Identify potential occupational risks in the workplace and evaluate their level of danger. Establish a measurement strategy to characterise the assessed risks. Prevention Plan Development: Develop and implement plans and prevention measures to minimise identified risks. Plan preventive actions in situations requiring the intervention of different specialists. Training and Awareness: Provide training and awareness to workers about occupational risks and preventive measures. Conduct training and information sessions at all levels within the organisation. Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with safety regulations and prevention measures. Ensure that inspection results characterise the assessed situation. Accident Investigation: Conduct investigations of work-related accidents to determine their causes and propose preventive measures. Collaborate with relevant parties to prevent the recurrence of accidents. Advice and Consultation: Provide advice and consultation to the company and workers on safety and health in the workplace. Collaborate with other professionals in the company, such as IT and maintenance, to implement safety measures. Coordination with Other Peers/Professionals: Collaborate with other professionals within the company, such as those responsible for information technology or maintenance, to implement safety measures. Health Evaluation: Evaluate the health status of workers and detect possible work-related illnesses. Follow specific health surveillance protocols following regulations. Documentation Review: Maintain accurate documentation and records to ensure compliance with legal requirements. Analyse and report on health surveillance and risk assessment results. Participation in Health and Safety Committees: Participate in safety and health committees to discuss and make decisions regarding policies related to occupational risk prevention. Specialised Risk Assessments: Perform specialised risk assessments that require a) Establishment of a measurement strategy to characterise the assessed situation, b) Non-mechanical application of assessment criteria, c) Training and information dissemination at all levels within the area of specialisation, d) Planning of preventive actions involving multiple activities and specialists, e) Surveillance and control of workers´ health, following the guidelines provided in applicable regulations. Benchmark for working from home space conditions: Conduct and assist on the risk self-assessment questionnaire for all the employees in remote or hybrid work model type. Assurance that is filled out within the appropriate time frame and format. Inform employees about the results obtained from the self-questionnaire having 1:1 calls with the most difficult cases. Define the most significant risk factors to be considered and advise employees on how to solve the risks detected. Advise and resolution of doubts related with working from home conditions as for example the essential equipment need it and its disposition. Ensurance of workers being able to perform their duties from home without encountering any risk or discomfort. Health Surveillance: Collaborate with health personnel specialised in occupational medicine and ATS/DUE personnel. Conduct health assessments of workers at different intervals, including initial assessments, return-to-work assessments, and regular health surveillance. Qualifications Master's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field (3 technical disciplines: Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene and Ergonomics-Psychosociology) Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification, and First Aid/CPR certification are desirable. Minimum of 5 years of experience in health and safety management in Spain. In-depth knowledge of local and federal safety regulations. Proficiency in safety management software. Training Requirements Official university qualification. Complete a minimum accredited training course of no less than 600 hours.
