Position Overview

The Audience Insights and Industry Marketing team is responsible for developing audience-centric marketing strategies and plans. As leader of the audience insights practice within the team, you will play a key role in helping the Autodesk marketing organization deepen our understanding of our core audiences and buyer experiences. You will manage the gradual improvement of tactical research and analysis today, while being the driving force toward a vision of how insights management can provide incremental business value by improving marketing effectiveness. Your research and analysis will influence marketing strategy and prioritization by providing actionable insights that enable go-to-market activities. You will work across multiple stakeholder groups to develop, implement, and maintain the process by which persona, industry, and audience frameworks are updated and shared throughout the organization.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement an integrated process for collecting and managing actionable insights across the lifecycle in collaboration with the leadership team- Conduct research into buyer personas and buying committees to inform the creation of messaging, content, sales enablement, and customer experiences- Maintain governance of the Autodesk industry framework and go-to-market personas and serve as the go-to expert for stakeholders- Work across functional teams to activate audience insights and personas within existing processes and systems- Create communication plans to proactively share insights and deliverables across the organization- Help build a culture of customer-focus, and an outside-in perspective to industry audience teams- Lead stakeholder teams in the creation of a culture of participatory, success-oriented insight engagement

Minimum Qualifications- BA/BS (MBA or MLIS or equivalent experience preferred)- 5-7 years of experience in management consulting, business/marketing strategy, sales, or other business areas where market research, intelligence, and insights are conducted and relied upon- Capability of leading cross-functional projects and initiatives in a matrix environment- Strong bias toward action and ability to move projects forward when faced with ambiguity- Talent for simplifying complex concepts and framing information in a way that is accessible to all- Be a strong customer advocate, with an intense curiosity for understanding their needs, experiences, and desired outcomes- Experience and/or exposure to multiple methods of research and analysis, including secondary research, primary research, quant/qual surveys, focus groups, UX research, continuous market monitoring, and producing actionable deliverables, etc.- Experience scoping and designing research projects with stakeholders and engaging and managing external research vendors, including vendor search, RfP, legal contracting and procurement- Outstanding time and project management skills, managing multiple priorities effectively- Excellent written communication and presentation skills that support storytelling around insights and compel stakeholders to act- Experience with Qualtrics or programming surveys and conducting primary research interviews
