Senior Business Travel Consultant (T24)

  • Full-time/Part-time, (home)based in Spain or Poland or Czech Republic_

You deliver solutions to our business travelers who need your help to get home quickly at times of emergencies. You are ready to offer the best service together with your international colleagues who are equally passionate about travel.

The daily job at T24 EMEA is one of the most varied jobs you can imagine in the travel industry. While on your shift, you will handle all travel requirements for business travelers, including flight itineraries, car rental and hotel reservations. Every day is different. Weather issues, strikes or just a normal shift, we need to find ad hoc solutions for passengers all over the world. You advise customers by offering them the best travel options based on pricing and routing. You go the extra mile with everything you do.

Shift hours : Evening: 16.00 to 00.30 (peak time is 18.00-24.00)

Night shift: 22.30 to 6.00 (7 shifts per quarter)

Morning shift: 5.00 to 09.00

The T24 is closed from Monday-Friday from 09.00-16.00

A snapshot of this opportunity

  • Search and confirm travel reservations for the customer
  • Strong understanding of a client travel policy and can consistently provide consultation to the customer
  • Fulfill all requests regarding necessary regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas, etc.)
  • Provide the client with the required industry information, such as low fares, exchange costs, and penalties
  • Adhere to BCD Travel policies and procedures to maintain quality control
  • Seek opportunities to review operational processes and commercial relationships with client to provide suggestions for improvement
  • Maintain, actively communicate, and seek expansion of current knowledge of the state of the various travel industries support

How you can set yourself apart

  • Experience in the corporate travel management industry, with solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures and processes.
  • Advanced skills on travel industry systems (Travelport/ Sabre).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Ability to work independently, exercising discretion and judgment.
  • Demonstrated excellent professional customer service and problem resolution skills.
  • Strong problem solving and/or critical thinking skills
