Cloud Scrum Master

Your role

The Cloud Scrum Master will be responsible for enabling and maximizing our ability to exploit Cloud for business benefits, while ensuring team’s good performance, customer satisfaction, cost effectiveness, operational integrity, and adherence to relevant industry best practices. It is expected that the Scrum Master will undertake a wide variety of roles related to the strategic development of Cloud platforms, Cloud product management, project, and life support.

The role of Cloud Scrum Master is part of our Cloud Centre of Excellence . The Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) vision is to become a cross-functional team responsible for developing and managing the cloud strategy, governance, and best practices that the rest of the organization can leverage to transform the business using the cloud. The CCoE helps lead the organization in cloud adoption, migration, and operations.

In this role, you join a team of highly skilled engineers responsible for the end-to-end ownership and delivery of public cloud services. You will be provided with guidance and training to facilitate your development within this role.

As a Cloud Scrum Master, your main responsibilities will involve :

• Leading at least one Team implementing services and environments using infrastructure as code, and / or managing operational requests from internal customers.
• Guiding the team(s) and organisation on adopting Agile values, principles, and practices.
• Supporting the Product Manager in maintaining the Backlog and the progress towards Sprint Goals.
• Preparing reports and reporting regularly to project sponsor and stakeholders, improving transparency to allow the product and projects to be governed based on the organisation’s governance requirements.
• Supporting and developing Agile environment with the Product Manager.
• Removing impediments ensuring the team(s) deliver the business outcomes agreed to.
• Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
• Facilitating the ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand up, sprint retrospectives and release planning.
• Ensuring that the team(s) delivers high-quality software on time meeting the business goals.
• Provide input to the Management team to drive improvements in delivery, technology, and structure.

Your Skills and Experience

As a Cloud Scrum Master, your skills and qualifications will ideally include :

• Be a certified Scrum Master
• Have experience in playing the Scrum Master role (or similar) for at least one year.
• Have knowledge of various patterns, anti-patterns, and techniques to ensure that Agile principles and practices can be applied effectively to this organisation.
• Relevant degree or diploma programme of study.
• Proven ability to succeed in collaborative work environments using Agile ways of working.
• Managing relationships with third party vendors.
• Experience of supporting developing test plans and delivering results to schedule.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of Atlassian and Azure DevOps toolset.

This role requires occasional travel (within Europe typically).
