We are recruiting for a Lay’s Brand Manager in our SWE Snacks Marketing Team based in Barcelona. The position is a great way to accelerate your marketing career with growth opportunities within Marketing and/or other functions across different categories (Foods/Beverages).

Main Purpose: Lay’s is the #1 global snacks brand. Spain is the cluster lead for South West Europe region (Spain, France, Portugal & Italy). Therefore, Lay’s strategy and execution is being led by the Spanish team for the cluster with strong impact on all 4 countries.

As Lay’s Brand Manager you will report to the Lay’s Marketing Manager and you will be responsible for:

  • Accelerating Lay’s brand growth by establishing a strong short/medium term strategy.
  • Assisting on delivering the communication plan for the brand and for the cluster.
  • Setting up the annual plan for the Spanish market as well as executing all marketing activities and evaluating its performance against the defined KPIs.

Your Day To Day With Us: :

  • Develop brand growth strategy for the brand for the upcoming 2-3 years, in close collaboration with the Marketing Manager, and with the objective to deliver a growth roadmap for all countries within the cluster.
  • Deliver on annual business plan objectives (NR, SOM, Profit, amongst others), whilst continuously building brand equity and penetration.
  • Lead the development and execution of all marketing initiatives for Lay’s (communications, media campaigns, innovations, activations ), ensuring project completion on time and budget and in coordination with implicated stakeholders.
  • Know the category and brand performance and detect relevant insights to keep growing: monitor key KPIs and provide input to volume forecasting.
  • Be recognized as lead business and marketing contact for Lay’s in SWE and ensure key information is shared across functional stakeholders to support effective decision making
  • Own the A&M budget of the brand
  • Manage team (1 direct report)

Qualifications/Requirements : What will you need to succeed?

  • University degree.
  • Relevant Marketing (FMCG) experience (at least 6-7 years).
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Pro-active self-starter, entrepreneurial and you have a ‘get things done’ mentality.
  • Good communication skills, able to inspire and take others with you.
  • Strong analytical skills with knowledge of Nielsen, Kantar or similar tools.
  • Enthusiastic team player with analytical skills and a growth mindset. Relocation Eligible : Not Applicable
