As a member of the North America team, you will work across the transportation and energy sectors and beyond, supporting projects within railways, highways, metros, marine, wind, oil and gas, and more. EXTEND YOUR POTENTIAL IN A GLOBAL TEAM OF EXPERTS In this position, you will join our global team of experts and will report to the VP, Operations West. Your primary focus will be on COWI's major projects in North America but you will also assist others on projects throughout the world. On a day-to-day basis you will: Independently perform all duties of the planning scope. Planning lead reviews, bids, and conformance with procedures for planning and scheduling, identifies program-related risks and mitigation strategy Facilitates the development of an appropriate baseline program of services in line with the scope and requirements of the contract; based on project team input Develops program of works and appropriate WBS using bespoke/ or contract prescribed scheduling software Facilitates the development of WBS and deliverables register; develops progress measurement system and reports, and facilitates frequent updates; updates program frequently for progress and advise of any deviation to the baseline Maintains a log for scheduling logic changes; develops resources based program where required or necessary, conducts periodic progress meetings with project teams, and discuss corrective/recovery/acceleration measures Prepares EOT claims and coordinates claims development with the Contract Management Department centralized specialist claims team YOUR SKILLS. You'll pursue new insights and constantly explore new ways to improve while caring for and respecting our clients, your colleagues, and the planet we live on. Furthermore, you should: Hold a BSc or master's degree in Engineering, Construction, along with a minimum of 10 years experience working for contractor or engineer/designer and leading a Project Management Office (PMO) Have experience with working across a complex project delivery cycle Have good leadership skills and experience of managing a team Possess excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills together with excellent organizational skills Have excellent written and verbal communication skills along with good IT skills Have high attention to detail and peer analysis and be flexible and a proactive team player PERKS & REWARDS At COWI we believe in rewarding top talent with a great total compensation package.
