In order to complete our eCommerce Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) team, we are currently looking for an IS/IT e-Commerce D2C Solution Architect.

A day in the life of....

• Design and evolve the integrated architecture of the Infrastructure products used for D2C eCommerce.
• Lead and mentor the operations team in charge of maintaining the Infrastructure used in D2C.
• Define the processes required to ensure proper operability and scalability of all the operations related to the Infrastructure products used in D2C.
• Work closely with DevSecOps / development teams and suppliers to secure that the value planned will be delivered in the most optimal way according to the product strategy and the overall value for money objectives linked to the IS/IT strategy.
• Utilize your deep understanding of software and solution design principles.
• Identify the organizational impact (for example, on skills, processes, structures or culture) and financial impact of the solution architecture.
• Engage with Tech Leads, BAs, Product Managers and Enterprise Architects within (and across) the product groups to ensure alignment with the overall enterprise architecture.

What will make you successful....

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience

• Demonstrable experience in:

• eCommerce WebShops Technical Design & Build.

• Magento Adobe and PHP.

• Microservices architecture with strong emphasis on containerization (docker, containers) and orchestrators such as Kubernetes (Azure AKS and AWS EKS, ECS).

• Payment Gateways (Adyen, Cybersource, Worldpay).

• Relational databases such as MySQL, including Azure MySQL and AWS RDS Aurora, including replication, high-availability, backups, disaster recovery, access management.

• eCommerce Integrations (3rd Party Logistics, Back-end system, Promotions, Adress validation,)

• Anti-Fraud and strong emphasis on Security principles, best practices, including encryption (TLS), access and identity management, authentication.

• Understanding and knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies (such as Agile software development, rapid prototyping and DevOps).

• Understanding and knowledge of IT standards and controls.

• Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English.

• Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual teams.
